Know Your Contractor
A no-nonsense (okay, a little nonsense) guide to what Small Size Jobs is — and isn’t — here to do for you.
Let’s get one thing straight: we love what we do. We show up, we fix things, we make your home happier. But if you’ve ever called us hoping we’d tear off your entire roof, knock down a load-bearing wall, or hang off the side of your house like Spider-Man — well, friend, you’ve got the wrong crew.
Small Size Jobs was built on a simple idea: most people don’t need a general contractor with a full crew, a giant excavator , and three months of your life. They need someone to handle the real stuff — the leaky faucet, the door that sticks, the fence panel that’s been slowly giving up on life. That’s us. We’re the handyman heroes of the everyday.
Now, we say this with all the love in our toolbelt: some jobs are just too big for us. And honestly? That’s totally fine. Big jobs need big teams, big permits, big insurance policies, and — let’s be real — big ladders that we have absolutely no intention of climbing.
Jobs that are a little too “go big or go home” for us
Here’s the beautiful thing about knowing your limits: it means when we do show up, we’re exactly the right people for the job. No wasted time, no oversized crew, no invoice that makes you consider selling a kidney. Just skilled hands doing exactly what needs to be done — efficiently, affordably, and at a very comfortable altitude.
So if you’ve got a honey-do list that’s been staring you down for months, a repair that feels too small to bother a big contractor with, or a project that doesn’t require scaffolding or a crane — that’s our sweet spot. Call us. We’ll get it done.
And if you DO need a roof replaced? We’ll happily give you the name of someone who owns better safety equipment than we do.
