At Small Size Jobs, we believe even the smallest home updates can make a big difference in comfort and safety. We recently completed a smoke detector replacement project for a homeowner in Yukon Oklahoma, and it’s a perfect example of how a simple service can greatly improve peace of mind inside a home.

This project focused on replacing outdated and unreliable smoke detectors with new, properly functioning units. While changing a smoke detector may seem like a quick task, proper installation is important to ensure the devices work correctly when they are needed most. Our team carefully removed the old detectors, checked the wiring and mounting brackets, installed new units, and tested each detector to make sure it was fully operational.

We also made sure the detectors were placed in the proper locations throughout the home to provide the best possible coverage. After installation, we tested the alarms, verified battery backups, and confirmed that each unit was communicating properly where required.

Even though it was considered a small job, we approached it with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail that we bring to every project. From protecting the work area to making sure everything was clean and secure when we finished, our goal is always to deliver reliable results and a smooth experience for our customers.

The homeowner appreciated our clear communication, honest pricing, and dependable service from start to finish. That’s exactly why so many homeowners continue to rely on Small Size Jobs — because we treat every project with care, no matter the size.

If your smoke detectors are outdated, chirping, or simply due for replacement, it may be time for an upgrade. Working smoke detectors are one of the most important safety features in any home.
